I have upgraded one of my AMD PC’s with little problem, except some intermitent problems with IE6. Pre install, I removed IE7 as suggested in the IE Blog (see below). This machine doesn’t have Norton Antivirus, and uses Trend IS 2008 without problems.

Vista Tip: Windows Help (.hlp) Files

If you are using Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008, you no doubt have learned that you cannot open Window Help (*.hlp) files. This is because Microsoft made the decision to no longer include WinHlp32.exe (which is required to launch WinHelp files) as a component of the Windows operating system.
